DR. PAULO EGYDIO IS AN INTERNATIONAL REFERENCE IN THE UROGENITAL FIELD, ESPECIALLY IN PENILE DIAGNOSIS AND TREATMENTS. THOUSANDS OF CLINICAL AND SURGICAL PROCEDURES PERFORMED.
As mentioned on our Blog, when a patient is having trouble with erection, he’s likely to suffer penile traumas or micro traumas due to the lack of vertical rigidity. A lot of times those accidents could lead to a surgical Peyronie case, when the acquired penile curvature makes intercourse difficult or impossible. In that case, it’s recommended to treat the erectile dysfunction with medicines before performing curvature correction, for the prosthesis is only indicated when the patient hasn’t responded to those treatments or when exams confirm the penis presents severe vascular issues.
However, if a Peyronie patient gets a diagnosis recommending prosthesis, that’s the best opportunity to rectify, lengthen and enlarge the penis (in the same surgical procedure in which the implant is inserted). Curvature solution implies an incision model geometrically determined and is applied with an erect penis during surgery, according to Egydio Technique concepts. The goal is to lengthen the short side of the penis, removing fibrosis and making relaxing incisions in order to correct possible thinning or size reduction. Watch the video to understand how we perform the procedure, in order to get the best result and patient satisfaction.
It’s important to remember that choosing the right type of prosthesis with an experienced physician is also essential for greater size and girth restoring, up to the limit of vessels and nerves.

If the penis has thinned or shortened, reconstruction is fundamental before prosthesis
It's important to remove fibrosis to guarantee more firmness, lengthening and penile girth
